Catalonia has the most Michelin Star restaurants in Spain! It is also the location of the Number One Restaurant In The World - El Bulli.

Traditional Catalan food is delicious and interesting. If food is always a big part of your holiday, then having a holiday in the Costa Brava is a very good choice!

We only mention restaurants here that either we or our family have actually eaten in, and so can honestly recommend them.

This gives us a perfect excuse to try out more restaurants, and considering how fond we are of food, I imagine this page will grow quite quickly.

The restaurants are listed under the towns they are located in (or are nearest too). We have also categorised them into budget, mid-range or expensive. So you know whether you can actually afford dinner or if you’ll have to offer to do the washing up!

In addition to our recommended restaurants, we have also added a list of the type of restaurants in each town, on the page for that specific town. Always good to know if you can get a pizza. (Coming soon)

When eating out (or even eating in), it’s worth trying one of Catalonia’s wines. It really is good stuff and is actually one of Catalonia’s leading exports.
