Costa Brava Scuba Diving Course

by Kia D
(Germany)

Hello,

We are a group of almost 8 people visiting Spain in the month of August. We have a 2 day stop over in Valencia and during that time we all are keen on doing a single time dive in Costa Brava. We have no prior experience in Diving.

What would be the cost for the single dive? And also is there a 2 day course or so that we can do and what would that cost? Getting info of some diving schools would be of great help.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers!!

Kia

Diving Costa Brava Spain

Hi Kia

Thank you for getting in touch.

Valencia is about 350km south of the Costa Brava, so you will have to find a dive company around that area, as you will not have time to get up here.

Depending on how fixed your plans are, you may want to consider visiting the Costa Brava and if so, check out our diving centres directory, which lists the dive schools for each town on the Costa Brava.

If you have never dived before and want to do a course you will need to do the open water course which can be done in 3-5 days (if you do the theory online before you come) and costs around €400.

A try dive cost about 45-60€.

A single dive with full equipment rental, boat, dive tax and guide costs about 50-65€.

Valencia is a great city by the way.

Have a great holiday.
